Congratulations to Glenn Dempster, Pinta Ritthaworn, and Albert Sun for winning awards at the NIH Director’s Awards 2024! These awards recognize exceptional performance or special efforts significantly beyond regular duty requirements, directly related to fulfilling the NIH mission.
All three awardees played pivotal roles in supporting the NIH Training Center’s new program, the Emerging Talent Program (ETP). This dynamic program offers comprehensive opportunities for skill enhancement, professional growth, and cross-NIH collaboration with a focus on diversity and inclusion. Pinta received an additional award for her participation in the development and testing of NIHTC’s system for managing courses and programs.
