Emmy Marshall is currently serving as Project Manager for Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) Site Visits at DSFederal. She manages and supports a roster of programmatic and technical experts with knowledge of evidence-based home visiting, maternal and child health, early childhood systems, and federal grant fiscal requirements. The contracted consultants provide compliance reviews for awardees in all 50 states and the six territories.  She considers herself fortunate to have enjoyed working for over thirty years with other people who are passionate about supporting families as they enter the important role of nurturing and caring for their young children.  

Ms. Marshall has a master’s degree in human development and family studies from North Carolina Central University, a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from Appalachian State University, and a certificate in organizational development from the University of North Carolina – Charlotte and a certificate in non-profit management from Duke University. She says that her best teachers have been the amazing families and colleagues she has had the privilege to know and work alongside.
