Simona Lovin is the Senior Vice President of Operations for DSFederal. She oversees the Mission and IT program portfolios and is responsible for leading the successful delivery of program performance and operations. Her diverse and successful background in business development, delivery management, and enterprise architecture gives her a unique perspective on blending architectural theory and practice to generate sustainable results.
Ms. Lovin brings over 25 years of leadership expertise, consistently delivering exceptional results through driving growth, ensuring client satisfaction, and executing transformational programs exceeding $300 million in total value.
Prior to joining DSFederal, Ms. Lovin was the Director, Operations & Strategic Initiatives for Leidos’ Health Group, reporting to the business unit Vice President. In this capacity, she drove operational excellence by leveraging PMO best practices and monitoring portfolio performance. Ms. Lovin led the $20M/year Profit and Loss (P&L) division enabling customers’ digital modernization initiatives by providing innovative technology solutions and services to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Indian Health Service. Prior to Leidos, she held executive level and senior management positions at Cognosante, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and General Dynamics Information Technology where she successfully managed a large portfolio of programs and technology enablement initiatives.
Ms. Lovin holds a Master of Business Administration from the Heriot-Watt University, the Edinburgh School of Business, and a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Polytechnic Institute of Bucharest, Romania.
